And a few different friends are super excited that they bought Chrysler Sebring Convertibles (what I view as the worst car in the world). I am disappoint. Edit: my spelling was atrocious, sorry.

In the Facebook generation, the word "Friend" has lost all of its meaning.

Is it sad I judge people based on how many "friends" they have? Many of the people I know who have over 400 friends on facebook I find are quite shallow in real life.

If he did such a bad job that someone took the time to leave a note, on a Chrysler product (assumed to be bad drivers), he must have been parked horribly wrong. You should meet him for coffee, buy him one, and dump it in his lap.

Nobody has 400 friends. In truth, most people have perhaps 2 people that they can honestly call friends. Facebook has completely devalued the word. Many people think that simply clicking an icon can make somebody a friend, and they share intimacies with these so-called friends when they have no business doing so. Many people have forgotten what it means to keep things personal, or share those personal things only with a trusted friend. Sorry to rant, but I find the modern digital generation to be rather disheartening. I will never have a Facebook account.

I was heading out west for a summer a couple years ago and a family friends grandfather needed a ride out that way to pick up a car from another relative for a granddaughter or something. Eventually ask him what it is and he starts off "It's a great car, it's red, a convertible… It's a chrysler sebring!" My face

I am an "old" but thought I was still okay (with it). I read, understood, and enjoyed the note (placed on vehicle due to poor parking efforts). However, I understood not anything of the comments herein: Friend lost meaning, Seabring (spelllet), sad to judge peeps, not seen in ages, unfriend, beginning sentences with lowercase letters...I am seriously disappoint and KornFuzzed!

How are you familiar with the dash of a PT? Should we de-friend you now? I sense a non-jalop among us!

I think this is mostly the car's fault. It suffers a severe case of being a PT Cruiser.

I disagree. I have maybe 50 people who I would call friend without hesitation or devaluing the word. My father has hundreds. Without exaggeration. He has always made friends wherever he goes. And he has always travelled in many different social circles.

Just because I don't speak to my friends regularly doesn't make them less of a friend. In fact, in many cases if I were to call them I could pick up where we were last time we spoke.

Close friends? I have about 5, not including immediate family.

Don't get me wrong Facebook is a scourge upon society. I use it for two purposes keeping up with people I care about who I dont see regularly, and posting pictures of my kids.

Found out today, a long-time friend of my dad's drives a purple PT convertible. Does seem to know how to park it, though.
